Waiting for Royal Fireworks

There is always a Royal Fireworks Concert at Riverfront Park the last Sunday of July. We have made it one of our many traditions to go every year, usually with Jon's family and George and Rhiannon. I thought this year was the best show ever! The batteries died in my camera so I couldn't take video or pics of the fireworks or the band. Allegro's 60 piece Royal Band plays the music of George Frederick Handel and is choreographed to the fireworks! The band plays on the floating stage on the river.
Before the fireworks there is a Baroque period festival that goes on. Basically you watch people dressed up in Renaissance period clothes act as if they were in that period and do activities based on that period. Some things are a little boring and others are fun.
There is also a local ballet studio that performs; which is one of my favorites to watch other than the fireworks.
Here are some pics of us waiting before the batteries died.

Eli decided to drink out of the spray bottle to cool off instead :)
